Aeronautical Engineer(s)

Gippsland Aeronautics has developed, manufactured, distributed and supports the GA8 Airvan. Due to world market pressure, Gippsland Aeronautics is currently developing a family of aircraft based on the Airvan. Versions in this new family will include turbocharged engine, turbine engine and stretched 10 seat variants. Other product development programs include development of a crashworthy compliant seat utilising airbag technology and avionics upgrades. We need an engineer with strong skills to work as part of the team to bring these projects to fruition and to achieve certification.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience within the Aviation Industry
  • An appropriate Engineering degree (preferably Aeronautical)
  • The enthusiasm and drive to bring projects to completion

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer(s)

(Mechanical, Structural & Avionics)

We are seeking to appoint Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) to our Product, Predelivery and Maintenance Teams.

Ideally the successful applicant(s) will have:

  • AME (Structures, Mechanical or Avionics) Certificate IV or equivalent
  • Practical experience working with sheetmetal
  • Aircraft Maintenance or Avionics Experience
  • An understanding of production drawings
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Good communication skills
